Caroline Kaira founded Zion Foundation Adult Family Home after caring for her family, especially her father. She wanted him to receive thoughtful, holistic care in a safe, homely and professional environment. That experience became the inspiration for Zion.
A Registered Nurse with 20 years of experience, Caroline brings a clinical background that spans intensive care, medical-surgical care, mental health, long-term senior care, nursing homes and assisted living.
Caroline personally conducts monthly nursing assessments for every resident, with a strong focus on early identification of health concerns and proactive intervention to prevent avoidable complications and reduce unnecessary hospitalizations. She also personally trains and guides the caregivers, so changes in a resident’s condition are recognized early, handled within the right scope of practice, and communicated promptly when extra nursing or medical attention is needed.
Today, that purpose is reflected in attentive care, respect for each resident and practical support for families. To Caroline, caregiving is more than a profession – it is a calling.

Our home sits in a quiet University Place cul-de-sac, close to parks, shopping and restaurants, with easy access to freeways. Ample parking includes a two-car garage and driveway.
Comfort indoors
A living room and an open kitchen, dining and family room layout offer space to spend time together. Single and shared rooms, wide windows and central air conditioning add to the home’s comfort. Residents are welcome to decorate their rooms with their own cherished belongings, so their space feels truly their own.
A little time outdoors
A partially enclosed deck and fully fenced yard provide outdoor space, with flowers, trees and a vegetable garden surrounding the home.
